What’s Clarendon Hill?

Clarendon Hill is a proposal to rebuild the existing housing on site, with all 216 families guaranteed the right to return, and support this rebuild by adding additional housing across a range of incomes.

This redevelopment is a partnership between Preservation of Affordable Housing (POAH), Somerville Community Corporation (SCC), Gate Residential, and Somerville Housing Authority (SHA).

The site plan, as seen in the image above, will create more connection to the neighborhood, maintain existing affordable housing, add new affordable housing, and add new market-rate housing to subsidize the affordable housing.
