Seventh Spoke Davis Square Meeting Toight

Asana will be hosting a new community meeting about the Seventh Spoke project (replacing the Chipotle and Starbucks buildings and redesigning the plaza between them) on Tuesday the 21st at 6:00 pm. We're interested in seeing what the details of the proposal are, but since the lot is zoned for only four stories, we're hoping to find out if it's possible to adjust the zoning to permit greater height. Bike Network Feedback

The city will host a meeting on Thursday June 23 at 6:00 pm to discuss the draft bike network plan. If you ride a bike in the city or would like to, this is your chance to provide feedback! Learn more and register here.

MBTA Bus Redesign

The T is redesigning their bus network, which presents some huge opportunities to improve connectivity and service. They're working on making key routes more reliable and frequent, for example, which is great.

. Many of the changes are excellent, but there are some shortcomings we'd like to see addressed before implementation, chief among them a lack of transfers between bus and GLX service and a reduction in connectivity between Union Square and Davis Square.
