New Resources

We've updated our website with two new resources for you, one covering the

strengths and drawbacks of inclusionary zoning

, one of our our city's major affordable housing policies, as well as the the

pros and cons of rent control

and rent stabilization.

Rally in Gilman Square for the Homan's Site

The Gilman Square Neighborhood Council has been pushing the city to advance development on vacant city-owned land next to the Gilman Square Green Line station, and

has found unexpected resistance

. The city has had plans for this area since at least 2014, and now that the GLX is open, the neighbors want the city to start putting them into action.

On November 15, GSNC will hold a rally to ask the city to do more

. They'll meet at 5:30 in the square, then head up the hill to the Housing and Community Development Committee meeting where they'll present their argument for rapid action. See you there!
