Voting Starts Today, October 23

Election day is approaching fast, and early voting starts tomorrow! You can vote early at City Hall over the next week, from Saturday, Oct 23 through Friday, Oct 29, and in-person at your local polling place. Get all your details at somervillema.gov.

Previously, we invited you to canvass or phone bank for Katjana Ballantyne, Willie Burnley Jr, and Charlotte Kelly. Today, we'd like to also recommend helping out with our other endorsed candidates as well!

We'd love to have you help out with campaigns for Jake Wilson and Kristen Strezo, running for councilor at large. And especially if you live in Ward 5 or 7, we would truly appreciate a few hours of your time to help Ward 5 candidate Beatriz Gómez Mouakad and Ward 7 candidate Judy Pineda Neufeld. You don't have to be in their wards to volunteer, but it doesn't hurt!

All of these candidates  candidates need your help over the next few days to get out the vote. Here are a few things you can do:

• Tell your friends and family who you're voting for, and share our voter guide

• Sign up to phone bank. You can do it from home and all  you have to do is make a few phone calls.

• Knock on some doors. This weekend's weather looks great for it, too!

Steering Committee member Jeff Byrnes was out canvassing on Friday and reminds you that it’s an excellent way to meet your neighbors and get a little exercise while you're at it!
