AHMA Beacon Hill Lobby Day

Abundant Housing MA invites you to a day filled with legislative advocacy, engaging speakers, storytelling, free food, and more! AHMA will fill the steps of Beacon Hill with pro-housing advocates from across the state, and they’re aiming to have a serious Somerville contingent with them.

You’ll have your choice of training sessions on May 20 or 23 before the main event starting the morning of Wednesday, May 29. This is an incredible opportunity to tell your statehouse delegation that you want to see real action on housing! Can you join us?

SMEA Standouts and Rally

The Somerville Municipal Employees Association (SMEA) still doesn’t have a contract. It’s a serious injustice that we’re paying our dedicated workers so little, and it’s also bad for the city — our pay scales are so low we can’t recruit or retain staff to perform basic operations. SMEA will be holding standouts on May 16 and 22, and a rally at City Hall on May 30, when the mayor presents the budget to City Council. We hope to see you there.
