Join Abundant Housing Massachusetts in

asking your legislators to support An Act to Promote Yes in My Backyard

!  Rep. Uyterhoeven and Sen. Jehlen haven't signed on yet, and could use your encouragement.

Rep. Connolly and Rep. Barber are already co-sponsors, so if either of them is your representative, be sure to write in to thank them for taking the lead on such an important topic!

Somerville City Events

• Finance Committee: Special meeting to discuss Urban Center Housing Tax Increment Financing (UCH-TIF) for the 299 Broadway Star Market redevelopment project. This is one of the last hurdles the project has to clear before we can finally start to see this decades-long blight addressed. Tuesday 2/21 (tonight!), 6:00 pm.

• Gilman Square Civic Advisory Committee: Ongoing discussion about the use of the Homan's lot, drainage, and flooding. Thursday 2/23, 5:30 pm.

• 16-20 Medford Street Community Meeting #3: A proposal to redevelop the Cubby Oil and Somerville Service Station properties into mixed-use residential & commercial buildings hosts an additional community meeting. If you live nearby, please come out in support! Monday 2/26 at 6:00 pm.
