Patrick Dignan Joins Steering Committee

Please welcome Ward 2 resident Patrick Dignan to the Somerville YIMBY Steering Committee. Patrick has lived in Somerville for about 11 years and is excited about improving the level of transit oriented development happening in Somerville to enable more people to live near efficient, climate-friendly transit. He'll also be helping us organize more regular general meetings of the membership as we coordinate action throughout the coming year — including an upcoming campaign to #Legalize3Deckers in Somerville!

Tufts Urban Planning Class Survey on Davis Square

Several students from the Tufts University Urban Policy and Planning Graduate Program are conducting a survey about Davis Square streetscape improvements, including pedestrianization. This project will help them gain valuable experience in public outreach and could help inform the city's plans for the square.

CultureHouse Popup in East Somerville

In collaboration with East Somerville Main Streets, CultureHouse will be running a

community-focused popup space

for all of May in an East Somerville storefront on Broadway. If you live in the area,

they're looking for input from neighbors now
