We’d like to share a new resource focusing on the SomerNova proposal from Rafi Properties, somer.news. This community site (not built by Somerville YIMBY) is an attempt to help people understand the pros and cons of any given development proposal and how to get involved in influencing the development and the community benefits associated with it. It will be well worth reviewing if you plan to attend the SomerNova Community Benefits Agreement Summit, hosted by the Union Square Neighborhood Council. That will take place on Tuesday the 12th, in-person at the Argenziano School, 290 Washington Street, with an online version following on Saturday the 16th at 1:00.

• Monday, March 11: Somerville Stands Together coalition meeting. 4:00 pm, online.

• Wednesday, March 13: Somerville YIMBY general meeting. We’ll be talking about our long-term strategy for the organization, plus updates on 299 Broadway, SomerNova, and other projects. 6:00 pm, online.

• Monday, March 25: Just-A-Start hosts a meeting about a new 100% affordable apartment building located at 24 Webster Avenue in Somerville. 6:00 pm, online, advance registration recommended.
