Congratulations to Our New Elected Officials

We are thrilled to see that

, and look forward to working with our new mayor & updated city council in 2022. But our current officials aren't just running out the clock - there's a lot on the agenda for the rest of 2021!

Major City Planning Meetings

The city is beginning a long-range plan to reevaluate its entire relationship with parking, curb use, and car-dependency. In addition, it's going to be rebuilding and redesigning major parts of Highland Avenue as part of ongoing sewer and road work.

We need strong attendance at meetings on those topics

to support the city's focus on sustainability and non-car mobility.

Highland Ave Redesign Project community meeting. Improving transit and creating safe bike passage on Highland Ave is absolutely critical, and it's also going to draw opposition from people who want convenient parking above all else.

A proposal to build a self-storage facility at 151 Linwood Street (the U-Haul facility). There's got to be a better use for that parcel.
