Quick January Update
Key meetings for Somernova and Davis Square
We hope your year is off to a good start and that you’re staying warm. We wanted to drop you a quick line to let you know about the following key events coming up later this month:
January 22: Union Square Neighborhood Council update on Community Benefits Agreement with the Somernova project. 6:30-8:30 pm, online and in-person at the Argenziano School.
January 27: Davis Square Neighborhood Council monthly meeting. The agenda includes the Copper Mill proposal for new apartments on Elm Street. 6:00 pm, in-person at the West Somerville branch library.
January 27: 199 Elm Street Community Meeting: Presentation about a proposed 4-story building with 10 apartments and a commercial ground floor. (This is the former AFSC building next to Revival Cafe). 6:00 pm, online via Zoom.

Free Trees
The Mystic River Watershed Association is organizing a tree giveaway for residents of Somerville, Everett, and Chelsea this spring. Fill out their interest form before February 1 and they’ll get in touch later this spring to follow up. No commitment required at this time.
